Industry Task Force (ITF) Charter |

The ITF aims to: - Support the selected industrial/business applications by establishing direct support channel within EGEE-II; - Interact with EGEE-II Technical Coordination Group (TCG) to place industry requirements on equal footing with scientific applications; - Interact with EGEE-II Industry Forum and Cern openlab to improve the uptake of EGEE-II in industry. The ITF is composed with representatives from EGEE-II industrial partners and representatives from the supported applications. The ITF is managed by a board composed with EGEE-II industrial partners. Applications support and follow-up Each supported application will have a designated ITF correspondent. The role of the ITF correspondent is to : - Find dedicated people within EGEE-II in order to provide the necessary support to the application; - Follow and make converged, in a efficient way, the achievement of support requests.
The ITF milestones will be jointly derived with the participating applications and will in particular include training, software installation, and porting. Initial milestones for the set up of the ITF are: - 08/2006: ITF organisation and support channels ready; - 09/2006: ITF Meeting at the occasion of EGEE-II conference. |
